Goop Takes over Netflix?

Gwyneth Paltrow‘s march toward world domination continues. The Oscar-winner’s lifestyle brand Goop is set to launch a new series on Netflix in the fall of 2019. The untitled show will have 30-minute installments hosted by editors, chief content officer Elise Loehnen and, of course, Paltrow herself, Variety reports.

The show, like her lifestyle brand and magazine, will cover topics related to physical and spiritual health.

“We were speaking to the platform question, and where our people are. They’re watching Netflix. Some of the more strategic, bigger stories we want to tell require a TV budget. Obviously, there’s no better partner in that,” Loehnen told Variety about the new deal.

Goop magazine will reportedly be paused so the team can focus attention on the show. But Goop‘s podcast is thriving, and now as an exclusive distribution deal with Delta Airlines. In 2018, the podcast was one of the most downloaded on iTunes.
