Burst pipe causing problems for Kamloops Staples

KAMLOOPS — UPDATE: (4:00 p.m.): A Staples employee says the store will be closed through Wednesday (Feb. 6), with the hope of re-opening Thursday morning.

EARLIER: Fire crews are currently on scene at the Staples in Dufferin after a pipe burst this morning.

Water can be seen flowing out and freezing in front of the store.

It’s currently -27 C with windchill in Kamloops, and temperatures aren’t expected to warm up until later this week.

Staples is currently closed and no word on a possible reopening time at this point.
