Power restored in Barnhartvale after early morning outage

KAMLOOPS — Over 1400 B.C. Hydro customers were without power in parts of Barnhartvale this morning.
A pickup hit a power line about 5:00 AM, knocking the power line down.
The vehicle was apparently trapped under the Hydro pole, and fire crews had to wait for Hydro to deal with the issue.
No indication of injuries at this point, word from the scene is that the vehicle was warming up in the driveway, and rolled, striking the pole.
Power was back on by just before 7:30 AM.
