GWYNETH PALTROW SUED FOR $3.1M: Gwyneth Paltrow is being sued by a Utah doctor who claims the actress crashed into him while skiing in February of 2016. According to court documents, Terry Sanderson claims Paltrow, 46, was “skiing out of control” at Deer Valley Resort in Park City, Utah, when she hit him in the back. The suit claims she “got up, turned and skied away, leaving Sanderson stunned, lying in the snow, seriously injured.” A rep for Paltrow tells People, “This lawsuit is completely without merit. Anyone who reads the facts will realize that.”
ELLEN DEGENERES STAGES SURPRISE FRIENDS REUNION: Lisa Kudrow and Courtney Cox appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show together Tuesday in a bid to promote Cox’s new Instagram page and Facebook series Nine Months With Courtney Cox. DeGeneres assembled a faux Central Perk set for Cox to take her first Instagram shot in, and the star piped up: “I wish Lisa Kudrow was here because that would be fun.” And presto, she arrived. “You’re here!” Cox said. “This is a shock.” Cox joked: “This is my first Instagram post? It’s all downhill from here.”
KIM KARDASHIAN HEADS TO SACRAMENTO TO PITCH JUSTICE REFORM: Kim Kardashian has made criminal justice reform part of her personal mission recently. On Monday, the reality star spent time in the California State Capitol (Sacremento), talking to legislators and change-makers. Her presence was noted. “Civic engagement is a vital part of our democracy. I want to commend @kimkardashian for coming to the State Capitol and engaging on so many important issues affecting our state,” Senator Susan Rubio said on social media. Kardashian was also there to support the Free the Vote Act, which aims to restore voter rights to formerly incarcerated people.
ANDY COHEN THROWS EAST COAST BABY SHOWER: Andy Cohen‘s first baby (a boy) is getting quite the welcome! After a star-studded fete in Beverly Hills, Cohen kept the party going out East. “I had a heart-boner for days after this crew threw me an equally epic affair on the East Coast,” Andy wrote on social media Tuesday morning. “I feel loved & it’s all going to the baby.”
