Prince George police say woman had part of lip bitten off during fight

PRINCE GEORGE, B.C. — Prince George Mounties are investigating an alleged aggravated assault.

Prince George RCMP Cpl. Craig Douglass says the incident occurred early Friday morning (Jan.25) at a home on North Nechako Road.

He says police arrived to find a woman missing a portion of her bottom lip they believe was bitten during a fight between two people known to each other. Douglass says alcohol was a factor.

Twenty-six-year-old Hailee Marie Kowalchuk of Prince George was arrested at the scene and is facing the following charges:

• Aggravated assault
• Assault
• Fail to comply with a probation order
