Investigators remain at scene of Valleyview motel homicide

KAMLOOPS — Police remain on scene at the Super 8 motel this morning, after one of two homicide victims was discovered there yesterday.

Kamloops RCMP are expected to release more information about the two shooting deaths at a news conference this afternoon (Jan. 24).

Shortly before 7:00 a.m. yesterday, police responded to the Super 8 motel in Valleyview, where they found a man outside the hotel who had been shot.

Less than two hours later, officers attended the Comfort Inn and Suites off of Rogers Way in Aberdeen, where another man was outside suffering from gunshot wounds.

Both men were rushed to Royal Inland Hospital but died a short time later.

Police have not confirmed the incidents are related.
