Alec Baldwin pleaded guilty Wednesday to second-degree harassment and agreed to attend an anger management program following his November arrest over a disputed parking space in Manhattan.
All other charges (including misdemeanor attempted assault and harassment) against the star were dropped. Baldwin appeared in the courtroom briefly, wearing all-black and glasses, to resolve the dispute with Wojciech Cieszkowski. According to the victim, Baldwin punched him over a parking spot on East 10th street.
“He’s an a—e. He stole my spot,” Baldwin told officers at the scene, according to court papers. “I did push him.”
The 60-year-old will pay a $120 fine. “We have had an opportunity to review video surveillance in this case, speak with the witnesses, review the medical records and speak with the victim,” said prosecutor Ryan Lipes, Page Six reports. “Given that Mr. Baldwin does not have a criminal record, we are prepared to offer a harassment violation in the second degree with the the condition that he completes the short anger management program.”
