Veteran forward Kawhi Leonard to miss Raptors’ home game versus Grizzlies

TORONTO — Kawhi Leonard is sitting out a second straight game for the Toronto Raptors.

Toronto rested the forward Saturday night against the Memphis Grizzlies due to load management.

“We’ve had so many guys in and out,” Toronto head coach Nick Nurse said prior to Saturday night’s game.

“I’m serious, it’s a good thing I spent some time in the G League because it’s about this time every night I’d know who was playing.”

Leonard didn’t play in Toronto’s 111-109 home win over Phoenix on Thursday night.
