Bail hearing for accused in Cache Creek homicide pushed ahead

KAMLOOPS — A bail hearing for a man charged in a Cache Creek homicide this week has been pushed ahead.

31-year-old Corey Richard Harkness was scheduled for a hearing before a BC Provincial Court judge at the Kamloops courthouse this afternoon.

Harkness is charged with second-degree murder in the shooting death of Brock Ledoux Monday in Cache Creek.

He was taken into custody on Wednesday, and a family member tells CFJC Today he turned himself in at the Ashcroft RCMP detachment.
