Paris Jackson Is Okay

Paris Jackson took to social media to reassure concerned fans on Wednesday after reports of her seeking treatment for her emotional health circulated.

“Yes I’ve taken a break from work and social media and my phone because it can be too much sometimes, and everyone deserves a break, but I am happy and healthy and feeling better than ever!” she wrote.

The 20-year-old model and daughter of the late icon Michael Jackson also teased new music with her Soundflowers bandmate, Gabriel Glenn, and promised to return to the limelight “soon.”

Jackson has reportedly had a grueling work schedule, in addition to dealing with a “stalker,” Page Six reports. In August, Jackson also underwent surgery to remove a “golf ball” size abscess.

It isn’t her first struggle with emotional health. As she told Rolling Stone in 2017 of previous suicide attempts: “I was crazy. I was actually crazy. I was going through a lot of, like teen, angst. And I was also dealing with my depression and my anxiety without any help.”
