MAROON 5 & TRAVIS SCOTT OFFICIALLY CONFIRMED AS SUPER BOWL 2019 HEADLINERS: Maroon 5 has been officially named as the 2019 Super Bowl’s halftime show headliner. After months of speculation, the group revealed that they will be taking the stage during the highly anticipated game on February 3rd. In the announcement video, the band also confirmed that Travis Scott and Big Boi will be joining the performance. Billboard revealed that Scott agreed to perform at the event on the condition that the NFL would join him in a joint donation to a charitable cause. In partnership with the league, Scott will make a $500,000 contribution to Dream Corps, a non-profit organization that champions social justice. Super Bowl LIII will take place on February 3rd at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia.

PSY’S ‘DADDY’ VIDEO PASSES 400M VIEWS ON YOUTUBE: South Korean singer Psy had another video pass 400 million views on YouTube. The 41-year-old K-pop star reached the milestone Thursday with his music video for “Daddy” featuring CL. “Daddy” is Psy’s fourth music video to pass 400 million views on YouTube, following “Gangnam Style,” “Gentleman” and “Oppa is Just My Style.” He thanked fans for their support in a tweet Thursday. “#daddy #400Mviews #thankyou #THX,” the singer wrote. “Daddy” appears on Psy’s album Chiljib PSY-Da, which debuted in December 2015. The song’s music video was the most-watched K-pop video on YouTube in 2016. Psy last released the album 4X2=8 in May 2017. The singer left his longtime agency, YG Entertainment, in May 2018 and is expected to launch his own management firm.

LAUREN JAUREGUI SHARES NEW SINGLE ‘MORE THAN THAT’: Lauren Jauregui is moving on with solo life by sharing the single “More Than That.” Produced by Charlie Handsome & Murda Beatz, “More Than That” is the former Fifth Harmony singer’s second official solo single, following 2018’s “Expectations.” Jauregui also shared the sexy, Renaissance-era-inspired artwork for the single, which is expected to appear on her as-yet-untitled solo debut album.
