Jan 7, 2019 | 5:15 AM

Demi Lovato is speaking out after she came across a fat-shaming ad in her Instagram feed. The 26-year-old “singer voiced her opinion in her Instagram Stories on Friday.

“Why is this fat shaming bullsh*t on my feed? So many things wrong with this ad,” she began, referring to a “Game of Sultans” ad that she screenshot.

“1. You can be ‘pretty’ at any weight,” she wrote, adding, “This is absolutely harmful to anyone who is easily influenced by societal pressures put on us from the diet culture to constantly be losing weight in a world that teaches us to equate our value and worth with the way we look and especially anyone in recovery from an eating disorder. Especially when eating disorders are all about ‘control.’”

“So please Instagram, keep this bullsh*t off mine and other’s feeds who could be easily effected by this disgusting advertisement,” she continued. “With how aware people are becoming of mental health and mental illnesses, I expect you guys to know better by allowing this advertisement to be on your app. And shame on the game.”

A rep for Instagram said the ad has since been removed, stating, “We’re sorry. This ad was approved by mistake. We reviewed it again and removed it from future delivery in people’s feeds.”

Camila Cabello headlines the L’Oreal Paris Elvive Rapid Reviver #StopWaiting campaign, which launched during 2019 Golden Globes last night.

According to new research from L’Oreal Paris Elvive Hair Care, 91% of women have been told “good things come to those who wait.” However, women today are dispelling this old adage through both their actions and their demands across all areas of their lives – including their beauty products.

L’Oreal Paris believes it’s time to flip the narrative by celebrating that good things come to those who STOP waiting and wants to provide women with products that allow them to stop waiting to see transformative results. So the brand is introducing the new Elvive Rapid Reviver Deep Conditioners which have no wait time and work deep to repair hair damage fast.

Last night, at the Golden Globes, the brand’s celebrity spokeswomen, including Camila, Eva Longoria, Amber Heard, and Aja Naomi King, came together on social media to share what they achieved when they stopped waiting.

“I’m learning to trust my instincts more and more and follow my heart,” Camila said in a statement. “Believe in yourself and stop waiting to go after what you truly want.”

Women everywhere were invited to join the campaign by sharing their own #StopWaiting stories during the Golden Globes, tagging @LorealHair on Instagram and @LOrealParisUSA on Twitter.
