Updated: Winter storm warning no longer in effect for Coquihalla Highway

MERRITT — A winter storm warning previously put in place by Environment Canada is no longer in effect for the Coquihalla Highway section from Hope to Merritt.

However, some snowfall is expected throughout the afternoon and evening today (Jan. 6), so drivers are still cautioned to be prepared for less than ideal road conditions through the mountain areas.
