VANCOUVER—  A mudslide near White Rock, B-C, has cut off Amtrak’s passenger train service between Vancouver and Seattle.

It will be out until at least tomorrow.

The company issued a service alert yesterday saying the section of its Amtrak Cascades service between the two cities has been suspended.

Amtrak is offering alternative bus service to affected passengers.
