Coquihalla drivers urged to take note of snowfall patterns
KAMLOOPS — Higher elevations in the Kamloops area could see some snow this evening, including the Coquihalla highway.
Environment Canada Meteorologist Jennifer Hay says snow is expected along the Coquihalla (BC Highway 5) between Kamloops and Hope tonight (Jan. 5).
“Another up to 20 centimetres over the Hope to Merritt section, and even in the Merritt to Kamloops section, looking at 4-8 centimetres.”
Tomorrow is expected to be similar, however a trend has emerged that Hay says travellers should take note of.
