New details have emerged about Meghan Trainor’s December 22nd backyard wedding to Daryl Sabara.

People reports that Meghan wore a sparkling off-the-shoulder Berta gown with a long veil, which she paired with Badgley Mischka heels and Norman Silverman jewels. The groom wore an Armani tux.

“I didn’t want to look like a glam pop star – I just looked like a really beautiful woman that I’ve always wanted to look like since I was my uncomfortable 13-year-old self,” Meghan said.

She walked down the aisle to “Marry Me,” an original song she wrote inspired by Sabara, with her dad Gary Trainor.

“My father started bawling as soon as he was done handing me off to Daryl,” she says. “That’s when I almost lost it – it took all of me not to cry tears of joy because I wanted to look good for the pictures!”

Meghan and Daryl then recited their own vows and exchanged wedding bands, before being pronounced husband and wife by their officiant, Trainor’s manager Tommy Bruce.

For the reception, Meghan changed into a Rita Vinieris lace suit with Aldo sneakers. Guests dined on a wide variety of comfort foods, including pizza, tacos, chicken and waffles, and mini hot dogs. For dessert, there was a four-tier wedding cake, a red velvet-Oreo cookie ice cream cake and a birthday cake for Meghan, who turned 25 the same day.

They capped off the night with dancing, which included a surprise choreographed number performed by Daryl and four backup dancers.

“I’m always like, ‘I’m giving you guys a show all the time; put on a show for me!’” Meghan says. “I fell in love all over again. I thought I was going to pass out with joy.”
