Does she dive in? Nope! LiLo is all business, because she “wants to build an empire” and “this is not Girls Gone Wild.” Lohan’s show follows her as she attempts to erect an empire of clubs in Mykonos, Greece. Lindsay Lohan: Welcome to the Beach Club debuts Tuesday, January 8 at 8 p.m. on MTV.

SCARJO TALKS DEEPFAKE PORN: Scarlett Johansson has given up on fighting “deepfake” porn videos, in which an often famous face is superimposed on a body not her own. One such video, falsely described as “leaked” footage of her, has been viewed 1.5 million+ times. “Nothing can stop someone from cutting and pasting my image or anyone else’s onto a different body and making it look as eerily realistic as desired,” Johansson told The Washington Post. “The fact is that trying to protect yourself from the Internet and its depravity is basically a lost cause.”

SHAY MITCHELL TALKS COMPASSION: Pretty Little Liars star Shay Mitchell is calling for more compassion in 2019. Writing on Instagram, she says: “So, for 2019, let’s all try to be a little more compassionate, empathetic, patient and thoughtful with each other.” Mitchell also thanked her followers for the compassion they showed her last year. “The support and affection that so many of you show me lifts me up during even my darkest days, one of which happened last year after I miscarried and lost the child of my hopes and dreams.”

CHRISSY TEIGEN GETS NAILED IN THE FACE WITH LESLIE JONES’ UMBRELLA ON TV: Way to start off the New Year! Chrissy Teigen appeared on NBC‘s New Year’s Eve segment Monday with Saturday Night Live star Leslie Jones. When the New Year turned and hugging commenced, Jones unwittingly jabbed Teigen in the eye with an umbrella, creating the first viral celeb moment of the year. Thankfully, all is well! “EYE’M FINE BABY I hug too hard what can I say,” Teigen replied to Jones when she tweeted her apologies, with a picture of her sending Jones a kiss.

GWYNETH PALTROW AND CHRIS MARTIN VACATION TOGETHER: It turns out the “conscious uncoupling” thing is the real deal for Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin. The pair, who split after a decade in 2014, with the stated intention of remaining besties for life, were spotted jetting off to the Maldives with their loves (Brad Falchuk and Dakota Johnson, respectively) in tow. They reportedly spent Christmas and New Year’s together with their kids, Apple and Moses.
