Your post-New Year’s Eve safe ride home guide

KAMLOOPS — New Year’s Eve revellers ringing in 2019 in Kamloops will have a number of options to get home safe and sound after the night’s festivities.

Operation Red Nose volunteers will be offering their services from 8:00pm to 3:00am, giving rides to party goers and their vehicles, while accepting donations to PacificSport as payment. 

The phone number for a safe ride home is 250-372-5110.

Additionally, BC Transit and the City of Kamloops will be offering extended service hours for transit users on New Year’s Eve, with the last trip departing after midnight on most routes. (Regular fares will apply.)

Along with those options, services including Drinkin’ Thinkin’ Driving and Zero Tolerance DDs will also provide safe rides home for you and your vehicle. You can check out their Facebook pages for more information.
