Highway 1 closed eastbound south of Boston Bar

HELLS GATE, B.C. — The Trans-Canada Highway eastbound is closed south of Boston Bar due to a jackknifed semi.

Drive BC is reporting that the incident is between Anderson River Mainline and Thomas Road, 32 kilometres west of Jackass Mountain Summit.

The westbound lanes have since reopened, but Drive BC is warning motorists to expect heavy delays.

Detours via Highway 5 and Highway 8 are available.
