Tied With Jay-Z

Forbes magazine released its list of “America’s Wealthiest Celebrities” on Tuesday, and one of the most unexpected takeaways is that Kylie Jenner, 21, and JAY-Z, 49, are tied for the fifth and sixth spots, at $900 million each.

Kylie’s loot hails from her makeup biz, Kylie Cosmetics, which has made more than $630 million since its inception. JAY-Z’s portfolio is more mixed: he has stakes in alcohol companies, including Armand de Brignac champagne and D’Uss cognac, plus his own entertainment company Roc Nation, and his streaming service Tidal.

Sitting pretty at the top spot is George Lucas, with $5.4 billion; he’s followed by Steven Spielberg with $3.7 billion; Oprah Winfrey nabs the third spot with $2.8 billion, and Michael Jordan comes in with $1.7 billion.
