BEBE REXHA TO BE HONORED WITH BREAKTHROUGH ARTIST AWARD AT MUSIC BIZ 2019: The Music Business Association (Music Biz) will present Bebe Rexha with a Breakthrough Artist Award at the Music Biz 2019 Conference’s Awards & Hall of Fame Dinner on May 7th at the JW Marriott Nashville. The Award is presented to artists who have truly emerged and made a particularly significant impact on the music scene in the past year, and who are poised to propel to stellar new heights. Rexha will join the ranks of past winners, including last year’s recipient, Julia Michaels, as well as Ariana Grande, Sam Hunt, Meghan Trainor, Halsey, Maren Morris, Lukas Graham, Nicki Minaj, John Legend, Carrie Underwood, and The Killers, among others.

ARIANA GRANDE’S MANAGER FIRES BACK AT TROLL SLAMMING PETE DAVIDSON: Ariana Grande’s manager Scooter Braun left a comment on one of Pete Davidson’s Instagram photos defending him. It all started when one Instagram user posted a comment, writing, “Ur cancelled tysm for breaking with Ariana bc she’s doing much better BYE.” Scooter ended up responding to the comment, writing, “Stop the bullsh*t. It is nothing like that and Pete is a good dude. No one has hate for this guy and he is a stand up guy. Show respect because trust me everyone on this side knows he deserves it and wishes him well.” The comment has since been deleted, but a screen capture of the comment was saved by Buzzfeed.

ZAYN MALIK RELEASING HIS SECOND ALBUM: Zayn Malik is set to release his second studio album, Icarus Falls, on December 14th. The upcoming record will consist of a whopping 27 tracks. The new album includes previously released songs such as “Sour Diesel,” “Let Me,” “Entertainer,” “No Candle No Light” with Nicki Minaj, “Fingers” and “Too Much” with Timbaland. There’s also a new song called “Rainberry” out today.
