Salmon Arm man missing since June found deceased

REVELSTOKE — The body of a man reported missing to Salmon Arm RCMP in mid-June of 2018 has been found.

Back in June, the family of John Cunliffe reported to the Salmon Arm RCMP Detachment that they had not seen or heard from John recently. Police then began an investigation, but were not able to find Mr. Cunliffe.

In a release, Revelstoke RCMP say after an extensive search and requests for public assistance to find John Cunliffe, he has now been found deceased.

Last Saturday (Nov. 17) afternoon, Mr. Cunliffe was found about 25 kilometres west of Revelstoke, after a local area resident was out in a forest cut block and located the black Dodge pick-up truck.
