PRINCE GEORGE, B.C. — Seven people — four men and three women — were arrested yesterday (Nov.21) morning following a drug bust at a Prince George home.

Following the execution of a search warrant, Prince George RCMP Cpl. Craig Douglass says police seized about 1.5 kilograms of methamphetamine and 1 kilogram of cocaine along with cash, drug trafficking paraphernalia and a loaded firearm, from a home on Isle Pierre Road.

He estimates the street value of the drugs to be more than $50,000 and notes that all of those arrested were released without charge pending further investigation and charge approval from the Federal Prosecution Service of Canada.

“This is a significant disruption to drug trafficking in our community,” says Douglass. “The Prince George RCMP is committed to enforcement and prevention initiatives that combat the possession and sale of drugs in the community.”
