Kamloops man charged after northwest Ontario drug seizure

MARATHON, ON — Police in Ontario have arrested a Kamloops man with a shipment of drugs.
In a tweet, the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) say the drugs were seized on Highway 17, the Trans Canada Highway, east of the community of Marathon, which lies on the northern shore of Lake Superior.
Officers say they seized 10 kilograms of cannabis and four kilograms of psilocybin mushrooms, along with a large sum of cash.
A 35-year-old Kamloops man is facing charges.
