EBUS makes scheduling changes

KAMLOOPS — A couple of weeks into replacing Greyhound, Ebus is making a few changes to its routes in BC.

While Vancouver, Surrey, Abbotsford, Kelowna, Vernon, and Kamloops remain scheduled stops, Merritt, Chilliwack, and Hope are now by Advance Reservation only.

Traffic volumes in those smaller centres are believed responsible for the changes.

The company hopes the changes will mean more riders on the service.

The changes come into effect today.

Aside from Merritt, Hope and Chilliwack changing to advance reservation only, departure times from Kamloops to Vancouver and Kelowna will change a bit as well.

EBUS GM John Stepovy says they’ve been listening to customers over the first couple of weeks of service, and are trying to adjust to that feedback.

The busses leave for Vancouver from Sahali Centre Mall at 8:15 AM and 4:45 PM, about 15 minutes later than previously, and to Kelowna at 8:00 AM and 3:30 PM.
