
Two men arrested after shooting in Dawson Creek
DAWSON CREEK, B.C. — Two men have been arrested following an investigation of a reported shooting that took place in Dawson Creek earlier this month. At the time of the shooting on November 2nd, RCMP found a 30-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds at around 10:30 pm, near the intersection of Alaska Highway and 17th Street.
Ghislain Cormier, 22, and Chase Schwab, 20, have both been charged with attempted murder, forcible confinement and multiple firearms-related offences. Both men remain in custody and will appear in court Tuesday.
While police believe this was a targeted offence, the public is not at risk.
