Katy Perry & John Legend call out Trump

Katy Perry has a message for Donald Trump. After the President took to Twitter to address the deadly wildfires in California, the singer voiced her opinion about how upset his response made her feel.

“There is no reason for these massive, deadly and costly forest fires in California except that forest management is so poor. Billions of dollars are given each year, with so many lives lost, all because of gross mismanagement of the forests. Remedy now, or no more Fed payments!” Trump tweeted.

Katy called his response “heartless.” “This is an absolutely heartless response. There aren’t even politics involved. Just good American families losing their homes as you tweet, evacuating into shelters,” Katy responded.

Perry wasn’t the only celebrity to call out Trump on his reaction to the fire. John Legend also tweeted out his own thoughts. “Our National Embarrassment can’t bring himself to show some empathy to Californians dealing with a horrific disaster,” he wrote.
