Williams Lake CO is B.C.’s conservation officer of the year

VICTORIA — A conservation officer from Williams Lake has been recognized as B.C.’s conservation officer of the year for 2017.
Sgt. Len Butler is a 27-year veteran of B.C.’s CO Service after beginning his career in Alberta.
Among Butler’s passions are preventing human-wildlife conflict and helping to train new recruits.
Butler co-ordinated the agency’s Defensive Tactics Program after putting it together in 2007.
