Behind-The-Scenes with Shawn Mendes

Shawn Mendes is giving fans a behind-the-scenes look at how his “Lost in Japan” video with Zedd came together. In the clip, we see how the crew went about recreating scenes from the 2003 Bill Murray/Scarlett Johansson movie Lost in Translation.

Zedd joins Shawn for the karaoke scene, where we see 13 Reasons Why actress Alisha Boe, who plays the Johansson character, learning the lyrics to the song so she can lip sync along. There is also a peek into the making of Shawn’s shower scene.

Shawn released the video – which combines both the original and remix version of the song – last week. “Lost in Japan” is the follow-up to single to Shawn’s smash “In My Blood.”
