Bail hearing for Sagmoen delayed
VERNON, B.C. — It appears that Curtis Wayne Sagmoen won’t find out until later this month if he will be granted bail for a number of serious charges he is facing.
Crown counsel and Sagmoen’s defense lawyer presented lengthy submissions to Judge Jeremy Guild in a Vernon courtroom Thursday. The submissions are covered under a publication ban.
The judicial case manager will get Sagmoen’s file on Nov. 7 to fix a date for Justice Jeremy Guild to make his decision.
Guild said he needed time to review the submissions.
