KAMLOOPS — Unsure of what to do with all your Halloween waste?

The City of Kamloops is encouraging residents to have a happy “Hallogreen” this year by getting rid of your trash in a sustainable way.

Recycling candy packaging is one of the easiest ways for residents to reduce their carbon footprint, with London Drugs, General Grant’s Sahali or North Shore locations accepting recycling. Small cardboard boxes and aluminum foil wrappers can be put in your curbside recycling bin.

Plastic candy, chocolate bar and individual cookie wrappers can be taken to any of the locations mentioned above.
