The Battle Rages Between Nicki and Cardi B

Oct 30, 2018 | 6:15 AM

Things got beyond heated between Nicki Minaj and Cardi B on social media on Monday (October 29th). It all started when Nicki put Cardi on blast during the latest episode of her Queen Radio show, where she opened up about their altercation during the Harper’s Bazaar ICONS party last month. Nicki revealed that the fight was caught on tape, saying, “There’s no way I can lie about it because I guaran-f**king-tee that there’s surveillance footage in the building where the assault took place. I had my cameraman there.”

Nicki also claimed that her friend Rah Ali threw the “hardest punches you’ve ever heard in your life” at Cardi after she attempted to throw a shoe at her. Nicki explained, “Rah [Ali] really really beat Cardi’s a** bad. Like really bad. And I’m not tryna be messy. You went home and told people that security hit you and we let that lie continue because of legal reasons. I told Rah don’t tell anyone you hit her because I don’t want nobody tryna sue me ’cause they gon’ come to the person with money. I guess you had to look like a gangster in front of your friends, I get it. Rah beat you so bad that I was mad at Rah. I’m talking about, the punches were so hard in your head that I was mad at Rah.”

Nicki then fired at Cardi’s sister, Hennessy, who claimed that she had Cardi’s number leaked. She continued, “And then you go and you got your sister calling me a crackhead, saying I leak numbers and-the fact that you would even discuss my looks are insane. Either of you. I’m a bad b*tch. Always been a bad b*tch. You can’t control your sister, but you want me to control millions of fans? I’ve never leaked a number in my life, on God.”

Nicki went on to offer $100,000 for the surveillance footage to prove that Cardi is lying. Nicki said, “I protected you from the situation of saying how badly you got beat. Nobody that was with you did a thing and you know that. Anybody that wanna pull up the surveillance footage I will give you $100,000. Pull up the surveillance footage!”

She later extended an olive branch, saying, “We can be happy for each other. We can exist and do our thing and be happy. There’s nothing that really makes me not like you like that. You know the things that I spoke to you about in that hotel room. We gon’ keep that between me and you…for now.” She added, “I’m perfectly fine with never talking about this again. I’m perfectly fine with y’all never bringing me up again and me never bringing you up again. I hear the shots you’re taking, but I’m a rapper. Remember that.”

CARDI B RESPONDS

Shortly after, Cardi took to her social media to respond to Nicki. Cardi said, “This is my thing, Nicki Minaj. How you sayin’ that I got ragged by Rah Ali when there’s so many footages of that night, every single angle and where am I getting raged at? Why would I be here sittin’ online, like, ‘Oh yeah, I did this, I did that,’ knowing that the next day there was gonna be so much footages of that same night? And second of all, how you say that I was the wild animal, that I attacked you, that you was mortified, that you was humiliated, playing the victim, but now you the gangsta? You need to pick a side. Do you want to be the victim or do you want to be the gangsta? You lie so much, you can’t even keep up with your f**kin’ lies. First you saying you got the footage, your camera man got the footage. Now, you talking about you wanna pay someone $100,000 if they give you the footage?”

Cardi then addressed the “MotorSport” record, saying that Nicki changed her verse several times and turned in the final version the day before the video shoot. Cardi explained that she was not feeling Nicki’s verse, which said, “Cardi the QB, I’m Nick Lombardi / B*tch, you my son, go and sit on the potty.” She continued, “B*tch, you not my coach ’cause you never helped me to get into this f**king career, and I’m nothing like you, so I’m definitely not your f**king son. I’m a real a** person, you not, so f**k outta here.”

Cardi also addressed Nicki’s claims about 21 Savage not shooting the video for “Krippy Kush” and “No Flag.” Cardi said of “No Flag,” “The song wasn’t doing good. It wasn’t doing that much numbers. So why would they waste they time?”

She even addressed claims that her label is using payola to boost her numbers, saying, “Since you talking about suing, maybe I should sue you for defamation of character since you wanna claim that I’m using something illegal called payola because you don’t understand why I am so f**king successful. Why is it that when people want to listen to me, you cannot believe it? That I gotta be cheating for that.”

Cardi later called out Nicki for “endorsing that type of nasty a** behavior” after revealing that her number was leaked online and that Nicki’s fans have been sending nasty text messages and death threats to her and her daughter.

She also said, “That Diesel deal that you got, yeah, that came to me first and I had to decline it because I’m already working with fashion brands.”

Cardi also accused Rah Ali of leaking Love & Hip Hop: New York star Mariah Lynn and blogger Jason Lee‘s numbers as well.

In Cardi’s final video, she said, “You somebody that I listened to ever since I was in high school. And that’s crazy to me because I show you respect, but the difference between me and a lot of these b*tches, I don’t suck your d*ck. That’s the difference. What you need to do is stop focusing on other people. Focus on yourself and focus on your craft because you’re out here f**king up your legacy, looking like a f**king hater.”

NICKI MINAJ RESPONDS ON TWITTER

Nicki Minaj responded to Cardi’s rant on Twitter. She said, “The only rapper in the history of rap who can only talk about deals and songs she’s supposedly turned down cuz she can’t talk about a verse she’s ever written. Fkn fraud. I’ll pay you to take a lie detector test about every claim I made on #QueenRadio. You won’t. I must admit you’re a convincing liar. You looked me dead in my face & said you told ya man not to do the ‘no flags’ video cuz I was dissing you. London on da Track got the same call.”

She continued, “We can… Get on live & have the convo for the world to see. Do a lie detector test TOGETHER. Do an interview on #QueenRadio *** ORRR we can both sit in a room together, hear a beat for the first time, and have ourselves FILMED WRITING TO IT!!!!!! Same thing with Steve Madden. Irv Gotti asked me to do that deal several times. I passed. You never hear me talking bout things like this. she rlly thought she was doing smthn talking about turning down deals. BWAAAAAHAHAAAHAHAHAAAAA #DipVIDEO out now. BABY GIRL WRITE A RAP!”

Nicki then said, “Her lawyer just called my agent threatening him for putting out the receipts.”

She added, “Ok you guys, let’s focus on positive things only from here on out. We’re all so blessed. I know this stuff is entertaining & funny to a lot of people but I won’t be discussing this nonsense anymore. Thank you for the support & encouragement year after year. Love you. “

Cardi reposted Nicki’s tweet and said, “Alright then! Let’s keep it positive and keep it pushing!”
