New Ebus service will operate out of Sahali Mall
KAMLOOPS — It’s official, with Greyhound service shutting down and Ebus coming in to replace some Southern Interior routes, the new bus company will operate out of the Sahali Mall’s northeast entrance.
In a news release, Ebus states the location has been finalized and service will begin tomorrow, Oct. 31. Twice-daily trips between Vancouver and Kamloops, along with Kelowna to Vernon to Kamloops, will be offered.
“We are extremely proud to be expanding our footprint in BC through our Ebus inter-city brand. Pacific Western Transportation has been serving communities in the Province since the 1960’s and this new service will allow access to medical, social, educational and employment opportunities for its residents,” says Dean Wright, Vice President of Motorcoach in a news release.
Earlier this month, Ebus was granted approval to operate in the Southern Interior, after Greyhound announced it would be ending service for those routes.
