TYLER, THE CREATOR LENDS HIS VOICE TO RE-IMAGINED VERSION OF ‘GRINCH’ THEME’: Tyler, the Creator has teamed up with Academy Award-nominated composer Danny Elfman for a re-imagined version of the classic Grinch theme song “You’re a Mean One, Mr. Grinch.” The new animated lyric video will also be featured on The Grinch Original Motion Picture Soundtrack. The film, based on Dr. Seuss’ beloved holiday classic, follows a cynical grump who goes on a mission to steal Christmas, only to have his heart changed by a young girl’s generous holiday spirit. Benedict Cumberbatch will voice the infamous Grinch; Angela Lansbury will voice The Mayor of Whoville; and Pharrell Williams is set to narrate the film. The film and soundtrack both come out November 9th.

CHRISTINA AGUILERA CANCELS ‘LIBERATION TOUR’ STOP IN CALIFORNIA: Christina Aguilera has been forced to cancel one of her shows. The 37-year-old singer revealed the news on Wednesday just hours before the show was set to begin. “Hey Fighters – I was just informed that due to production related safety concerns at tonight’s venue I am advised to cancel the show in Indio, CA. Y’all know this isn’t what we want because I look forward to performing for each and every one of you who make the time and effort to come see me! Love you all!” she wrote on social media. Christina previously postponed two of her Liberation Tour dates due to losing her voice.

SARA BAREILLES ANNOUNCES NEW MUSIC: Sara Bareilles has finally announced brand new music. The entertainer will be releasing her brand new single, “Armor,” this coming Friday. Sara made the announcement on her Twitter account. “Everything changes!! My big news is new music!! ARMOR will be released on Friday!!,” she tweeted, and also included a photo of the song’s cover artwork. “I can’t wait to share, BUT before your ears get anything, your eyes get the artwork. An #appeteaser if you will. #icameupwiththat #socialmediamarketing #armor.”

KELLY CLARKSON WANTS YOU TO VOTE: Kelly Clarkson doesn’t care who you vote for – she just wants you to vote. In a Facebook video, Kelly sings, “Hey, hey come together/we can make the world much better/can’t give up on hope/gotta get up on vote.” She then says, “All right, you beautiful Americans, I don’t care who you vote for, if you’re independent, a Republican or a Democrat, I’m not about any party right now. I’m just about you using your privilege of living in a country where you can vote and you should vote. Because if you want action in your own communities, you gotta be a part of it.” “So whoever you’re voting for, whoever rings your bell, go vote for them,” she urges. “O.K. Thanks!” The midterm elections are November 6th.

ELLIE GOULDING RETURNS WITH ‘CLOSE TO ME’: Ellie Goulding has released her new single “Close to Me,” a collaboration with Diplo and Swae Leefrom Rae Sremmurd. In the new tune, Ellie sings about wanting to always be with her significant other, because they’re so much alike. Ellie and Diplo collaborated three years ago on the song “Powerful,” for Major Lazer’s album Peace Is the Mission. Her last album, Delirium, came out in 2015; since then she’s released a few one-off singles.
