Lumby cannabis facility almost complete
LUMBY, B.C. — A cannabis growing and production facility in Lumby is expected to be completed this fall.
Vernon based True Leaf Medicine International says the first phase incudes a two story central hub for growing, and processing therapeutic hemp-based products for people and pets.
A second phase will see another larger building for growing plants on the 40 acre site owned by the company.
“As our True Leaf Campus project nears completion, we are getting closer to becoming a licensed producer of cannabis,” said Darcy Bomford, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of True Leaf. “We look forward to adding legal medicinal cannabidiol (CBD) products for pets to our existing line of hemp-seed based supplements for dogs and cats.”
