PAULA ABDUL FALLS OFF STAGE DURING LIVE PERFORMANCE: Paula Abdul had a concert mishap on Saturday night during her show in Biloxi, Mississippi, when she accidentally fell off stage mid-performance. The 56-year-old singer was singing her hit “The Promise of a New Day” and walked forward to greet fans, when she suddenly took a tumble off the stage. Fans were audibly shocked after the fall, with one woman screaming after she went down. Thankfully, Abdul got up and continued the show without a hitch. Abdul is currently on her Straight Up Paula! 2018 Tour, her first solo tour in 25 years.
LADY GAGA RELEASES ‘I’LL NEVER LOVE AGAIN’ MUSIC VIDEO FROM ‘A STAR IS BORN’: Lady Gaga is supplying another visual for one of her songs from the A Star Is Born soundtrack. The 32-year-old superstar released the music video for “I’ll Never Love Again” on Friday. The A Star Is Born soundtrack, which features original music from both Gaga and co-star Bradley Cooper, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. The video for the ballad is currently available as an Apple Music exclusive.
KATY PERRY PRAISES TAYLOR SWIFT FOR POLITICAL INSTAGRAM POSTS: Katy Perry has nothing but praise for Taylor Swift’s decision to break her political silence earlier this month. “She’s setting a great example,” Katy, who has been outspoken about politics in the past, told Variety on Thursday night at the amfAR Gala Los Angeles, where Katy received a Courage Award. Taylor has endorsed two Tennessee democrats on Instagram, and she shared another important message about voting in another post. Katy was also one of the first to “like” Taylor’s initial post. While the two have had some bad blood in the past, Katy reached out by sending Taylor an olive branch and a letter in May ahead of Taylor’s Reputation tour.
JAMES ARTHUR RELEASES NEW SINGLE ‘EMPTY SPACE’: James Arthur is back with a nostalgic, guitar-heavy new single “Empty Space.” “This song is for anyone who has ever deeply loved and lost someone dear to them, and is then faced with the struggle of trying to fill that void,” Arthur says. “It is about coming to terms with the fact that only that special person can truly fill the empty space.” Meanwhile, Arthur continues to work on his upcoming album with Ryan Tedder, Justin Tranter and Max Martin. The release date of the project has yet to be announced. He will also be featured on the rendition of “Rewrite the Stars” with Anne-Marie on The Greatest Showman – Reimagined soundtrack, available on November 16th.
