A new Aretha Franklin box set is being released in December. According to BestClassic Bands, Rhino is releasing The Atlantic Records 1960’s Collection — which is a six-LP boxed set that includes the Queen of Soul’s first five studio albums with Atlantic, plus an LP with 11 demos and outtakes that have never been heard before. The box set is limited to 5,000 and it features each album pressed on 140-gram vinyl and presented in the sleeves that re-create the original released.

The Atlantic Records 1960’s Collection includes the five studio albums that Aretha released between 1967 and 1969, including: I Never Loved a Man the Way I Love You, Aretha Arrives, Lady Soul, Aretha Now and Soul ’69.

Meanwhile, a new Aretha Franklin holiday album is due out in November. This Christmas will be released on vinyl for the first time on November 16th.
