BRITNEY SPEARS TO ATTEND #SPIRITDAY KICKOFF RALLY IN LAS VEGAS: Britney Spears will make a special appearance at a Spirit Day kickoff rally on Thursday in Las Vegas, organizers from GLAAD confirmed. “Come join us in Vegas at Toshiba Plaza on Thursday at 6 pm for a #SpiritDay kickoff rally! Get your free #SpiritDay merch & get ready for a special appearance from one of our celebrity allies… @britneyspears!” they announced. Her arrival is scheduled for 7 p.m. and the event will be broadcasted live on Ellen DeGeneres’ YouTube channel. As previously announced, Britney will be making a special announcement at the same time, which is highly speculated to be a new Las Vegas residency. Coinciding with National Bullying Prevention Month, Spirit Day began in 2010 after a high school student posted the idea to her Tumblr page following the suicide deaths of several LGBTQ and LGBTQ-perceived young people. TAYLOR SWIFT SHARES ANOTHER IMPORTANT MESSAGE ABOUT VOTING: Taylor Swift is speaking out, reminding fans to vote. The singer took to her Instagram to share info about early voting, following her political post earlier this month. “Something I wish I knew about when I was 18 and voting for the first time: EARLY VOTING. It makes it so quick and easy to go and cast your vote before November 6. Early voting starts TODAY in Tennessee and goes to Nov 1 ,” Taylor captioned a photo of her feet with a patriotic manicure. She added, “You can check out your state’s early voting dates at the link in my bio” Visit Vote.org to find the info about your state’s early voting dates.
ARIANA GRANDE LEAVING SOCIAL MEDIA AFTER PETE DAVIDSON SPLIT: Ariana Grande has seemingly referenced her breakup with Pete Davidson in a now-deleted Instagram Story. “Ok today was v special and i’m so grateful i was able to be there,” the 25-year-old said in reference to Tuesday evening’s taping of NBC’s A Very Wicked Halloween, where she performed. The special will air later this month. Ariana continued, “Time to say bye bye again to the internet for just a lil bit. It’s hard not to bump news n stuff that I’m not trying to see rn. It’s very sad and we’re all tryin very hard to keep going. love u. and thank u for bein here always.” Neither Ariana nor Pete has made an official statement about the split so far. Ariana did speak out about her anxiety this week.
