Ben Affleck Done with Superheros?!

The DC Universe is shifting on its axis. After multiple attempts to make Superman and Batman successes on the silver screen, DC is now reportedly turning to Wonder Woman, Harley Quinn and Batgirl to be their money-drivers.

Buried in a piece about DC and Warner Bros. postponing The Flash, is confirmation of the long-swirling rumors that the studio will not produce Batman or Superman films starring Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill, respectively.

Per Variety: “[Warner Bros.] is not moving forward with Batman and Superman movies featuring Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill, respectively. It is expected to recast the Dark Knight with a different actor.”

Cavill has been rumored to be out for a few weeks now and Affleck’s rumored exit has been whispered of for even longer, especially amid personal drama, including a third stint in rehab.
