Michael Buble’s Retiring???

Michael Bubl’s 10th studio album, Love, just may be his last. On Saturday, Bubl announced that he may retire from the music industry to focus on his family after recently dealing with the trauma of his son Noah’s cancer battle.

After speaking out about his family’s struggle at the beginning of the month, the singer admitted that he may no longer “have the stomach” for show business and would rather spend more time focusing on his loved ones.

“I don’t have the stomach for it anymore,” he said of his music-industry career in a new interview with the Daily Mail. “The celebrity narcissism. This is my last interview. I’m retiring. I’ve made the perfect record and now I can leave at the very top.”

Bubl’s 5-year-old son was diagnosed with liver cancer in 2016. The singer took some time off to be closer with his family. In July, Bubl said he didn’t think he would return to his career.

But a rep for Bubl said his comments shouldn’t be taken at face value. “Michael Bubl has absolutely no plans to retire,” Liz Rosenberg, his publicist, told Insider. “I wasn’t sitting in on the interview but this must have been taken out of context.”

Bubl has released two singles from his upcoming album, due November 16th, “Love You Anymore” and “When I Fall In Love.”

In addition to his Love album, Bubl is also set to appear on an upcoming episode of James Corden’s Carpool Karaoke with a special segment filmed for the Stand Up To Cancer organization.

Little Noah is now in remission. The couple are also parents to 2-year-old Elias and also welcomed a baby girl, Vida, in July.
