Everything You Need to Know About Princess Eugenie’s Wedding

Her mother is Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York and her father is Prince Andrew, the Queen’s second son. Andrew and Sarah are divorced. Through her mother and her career as director of the international art gallery Hauser & Wirth, she has created a successful career and accrued several Hollywood pals along the way.

ROYAL ATTENDEES

Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip, Eugenie’s grandparents, were in attendance. When they entered the church, they were greeted with trumpet fanfare. Harry and Meghan, who wore a navy blue coat and dress by Givenchy, were greeted with cheers. Prince William and Duchess Kate, who was dressed in a raspberry Alexander McQueen dress, entered quietly.

CELEBS

The wedding was almost as chock-full of Hollywood celebs as it was royals. Some of the bold-faced names who attended: Cara Delevingne, Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell, Liv Tyler, Demi Moore, Robbie Williams, James Blunt, Ellie Goulding and Ricky Martin.

THE DRESS

Eugenie’s dress featured a fitted bodice and full, pleated skirt with an off-the-shoulder neckline and a low back that showed her surgery scar from scoliosis. She requested the dress to be low-cut, according to Buckingham Palace.

RECEPTION

After the procession, the families gather in the White Drawing Room at Windsor Castle to take official pictures. A lunch hosted by the Queen followed, which was then followed in turn by an evening reception hosted by Eugenie’s parents at Royal Lodge.

The love birds drove from lunch to the evening reception in a $3 million Aston Martin DB10 made from the James Bond film Spectre.

The reception was quite the party, according to reports. Not only did Robbie Williams give a surprise performance, there was a food truck serving pizza and Casamigos margaritas. (Brooksbank is a rep for the high-end tequila brand, once owned by George Clooney).

The party got started again on Saturday and spilled into Sunday, sources tell Page Six.

“There was a traveling band going from table-to-table, and they played ‘All Shook Up’ for Eugenie and Jack. There was also a whole carnival with games for guests,” plus a ferris wheel, bumper cars and a carousel.
