KAMLOOPS — The Alberta company planning to pick up some of the bus routes vacated by Greyhound is still waiting for its application to be approved.

Ebus has applied to the Passenger Transportation Board to service three routes including Kelowna and Kamloops to Vancouver…..and Kamloops to Kelowna.

John Stepovy from Ebus says they were hoping to start before Greyhound ends its service Oct. 31st.

” They’re doing their due diligence,” says Stepovy, ” but time’s running out. “

“It’s going to be really tough, as the days go by, it’s certainly going to be more and more challenging to get up and running prior to Greyhound’s exit.”, he says.

Stepovy says they’ve had a positive response from the public since announcing their plans last month.
