JUSTIN BIEBER & HAILEY BALDWIN ARE LEGALLY MARRIED: It’s been a big question mark as to if Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin got married last month or if they just obtained a marriage license. Originally, People mag reported that they did, in fact, tie the knot on September 13th in New York City. Confusion came after Hailey tweeted that she wasn’t married yet. Now, TMZ is confirming that they are legally married, and did so without a prenuptial agreement. There’s no word if they plan to sign a postnuptial agreement. The couple reportedly had a preacher, Jeffrey Quinn, from Nyack College on hand at their ceremony. The witness was Justin’s friend Josh Mehl.

KATY PERRY TO BE HONORED AT 2018 AMFAR GALA LOS ANGELES: Katy Perry has lent her support over the years to amfAR – The Foundation for AIDS Research – and now the organization is thanking her. Katy will be honored at this year’s amfAR Gala Los Angeles, scheduled for October 18th in Beverly Hills. The bash will feature a cocktail reception, dinner, live auction, and a special performance by legendary singer Dame Shirley Bassey. Katy’s pal Hillary Clinton is the Honorary Chair of the event; Katy’s boyfriend, Orlando Bloom, is one of the co-chairs. The founder of Toms shoe company, Blake Mycoskie, will be honored alongside Katy, for the company’s “profound commitment to the fight against AIDS, as well as countless other humanitarian causes.” To date, the annual amfAR event has raised more than $13 million for amfAR’s support of AIDS research, HIV prevention, treatment, education and advocacy.

JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE RUMORED TO HEADLINE COACHELLA 2019: Following years that saw Lady Gaga and then Beyonc headline Coachella, another pop superstar is now reportedly being eyed for a headlining slot at the 2019 version of the festival. Hits Daily Double reports that, according to “informed sources,” Justin Timberlake will headline Saturday night at Coachella 2019. The same sources claim that Friday night will be headlined by actor/musician Donald Glover, aka Childish Gambino, with Kanye West headlining Sunday night.

The Lumineers have shared a stripped-down cover of Tom Petty’s “Walls” to mark the one-year anniversary of the rocker’s death. The band has taken the 1996 rock track and taken it down a notch, using acoustic guitar, accordion and tambourine in place of electric guitars.

In 2017, the Lumineers opened a handful of shows for Petty and the Heartbreakers, while that same year they performed “Walls” at the annual MusiCares Person of the Year Gala, where Petty was the honoree. Lumineers frontman Wesley Schultz recalled, “After we played, Petty told me how much he liked and appreciated the version, which was a great honor. This is our way of paying homage to him.”

All proceeds from the Lumineers’ cover of “Walls” will be donated to MusiCares, which provides people in the music industry financial, medical and personal assistance in times of need. Petty died last October of an accidental overdose of pain medication.

The Lumineers released their second and most recent album, Cleopatra, in 2016. It features the chart-topping Modern Rock singles “Ophelia” and the title track, as well as the Top 10 hit “Angela.”
