Kamloops women vie for coveted INKED cover spot
KAMLOOPS — Kimberly Paige is not the only local beauty hoping to become the next INKED Magazine cover model.
Two Kamloops women are entered in the contest, which offers a $25,000 grand prize in addition to the coveted cover spot.
One of the two, Brandy Ketlo, says she only began getting tattooed about four years ago, but was quickly hooked.
“I went to get my first tattoo with my sister-in-law. It was the tiniest tattoo and I thought I was going to faint – I was so scared of the pain. As soon as I started getting tattooed, I was like, “That’s it?” I was addicted, ever since and after that it was every month.”
