MARIAH CAREY, HALSEY, KHALID AND MORE ADDED TO AMERICAN MUSIC AWARDS LINEUP: The American Music Awards has announced another group of performers. Halsey, Khalid and producer Benny Blanco will team up for their first-ever live performance of their hit “Eastside,” which reached the top 30 on the Billboard Hot 100 earlier this year. In addition, Mariah Carey will take the stage to debut her new single, “With You.” This will be Mariah’s first time on the AMA stage since 2008. Her first-ever performance on the telecast was in 1991. They join previously announced performers Imagine Dragons, Post Malonefeaturing Ty Dolla $ign and Carrie Underwood, with more stars to be announced in the coming weeks. Tracee Ellis Ross is set to host the show again this year, which will air on October 9th on ABC.
POST MALONE, SAM SMITH, AND THE WEEKND PERFORMING AT GRAND PRIX IN UAE: Post Malone and The Weeknd will perform in November at the Formula 1 Grand Prix in the United Arab Emirates. Malone will kick off four nights of concerts celebrating the 10th Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on November 22nd. The Weeknd will perform on November 23rd, followed by Sam Smith on November 24th and rockers Guns N’ Roses in November 25th. Malone will also perform at the American Music Awards on October 9th where he’s up for six awards, including Favorite Artist of the Year. The Weeknd will be featured at the Global Citizen Festival Saturday in New York City along with Janet Jackson, Cardi B, and Janelle Monae.
JENNIFER LOPEZ’S DRESS, JUSTIN BIEBER’S SHOES GO UP FOR AUCTION: Top celebrity stylists including Marni Senofonte (who dresses Beyoncand Kendall Jenner), Karla Welch (who works with Justin Bieber and Lorde) and Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn (who outfit Jennifer Lopez and Gwen Stefani) have dipped into their personal collections to donate a selection of celebrity-worn designer items to eBay’s first-ever Fall Stylist Sale, now live. Highlights include the yellow Michael Costello jumpsuit worn by Lopez at the 2015 American Music Awards, Bieber’s quilted leather Balmain loafers and an embellished bodysuit Stefani sported in her 2016 “Misery” music video. Other designers featured in the sale include Tom Ford, Valentino, Balenciaga and Givenchy. Fans have until October 2nd to bid. All proceeds will benefit the charity of each stylist’s choosing, including the ACLU, Create Now and the Trevor Project.
