SUN PEAKS — Mounties are seeking the public’s help in locating the suspect or suspects involved in the theft of an ATM machine at Sun Peaks.

Kamloops RCMP Cpl. Jodi Shelkie says the theft occurred sometime around 3 a.m. this morning.

“The glass door to the lodge was smashed and it appears that the ATM was ripped out of the lodge by a rope attached to a vehicle,” she says. “The ATM was located later this morning at the junction of Agate Bay Road and Adams Lake Forest Service Road. It had been broken into and the cash inside was missing.”

Shelkie says it’s possible that the suspect(s) involved were driving a black Ford F350 pickup truck with silver trim and a lift kit.
