BRITNEY SPEARS TO REPORTEDLY PAY MORE MONEY TO KEVIN FEDERLINE: Britney Spears will reportedly be paying more money in child support to Kevin Federline. The 36-year-old singer worked out a new child support plan with her 40-year-old ex for their sons Sean Preston, 13, and Jayden James, 12, according to The Blast. Britney has reportedly “agreed to pay Kevin thousands more a month in child support. There are several other items in the couple’s new agreement but the deal is confidential.” Kevin originally requested an increase of his $20,000 monthly support from Britney earlier in the year.
SAM SMITH BREAKS SILENCE ON BRANDON FLYNN BREAKUP: Sam Smith is speaking publicly for the first time about his breakup with 13 Reasons Why’s Brandon Flynn. “I’m still trying to figure out what I took from that relationship and what it meant to me. It’s still quite raw,” the 26-year-old singer told UK’s The Times of his relationship with the 24-year-old actor. Despite it being raw, the split was amicable. Sam said, “All my relationships have ended in a nice way, never nasty.” He also added that “seeing gay relationships [in the public eye] is important and refreshing. You don’t see it loads.” News of Sam and Brandon’s breakup emerged in June after about 9 months together.
JENNIFER LOPEZ FALLS DURING LAS VEGAS SHOW: Jennifer Lopez recovered like a champ after she fell during a Las Vegas concert at Planet Hollywood on Sunday. During her Jennifer Lopez: All I Have residency – titled after her 2002 hit with LL Cool J – JLo took a spill on stage as she greeted fans mid-song, but gracefully got right back up with the help of a fan in the crowd. The evening also included the presence of fellow celebrities Selena Gomez, Dua Lipa, Becky G, Sofia Vergara, Jessica Alba and Lopez’s boyfriend Alex Rodriguez. JLo still has four shows left before she wraps her residency at Planet Hollywood on September 29th.
ED SHEERAN PERFORMS TWO SOLD-OUT SHOWS AT METLIFE STADIUM: This past weekend, during his first-ever North American stadium tour, Ed Sheeran performed back-to-back sold-out shows at New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium. Before Friday night’s performance, Sheeran took to Instagram to share a photo from a backstage plaque presentation celebrating the 4x-Platinum certification of his blockbuster 3rd album “”and Multi-Platinum certifications of hit singles “Shape Of You” (9x), “Perfect” (7x), and “Castle On The Hill (3x) with executives from Atlantic Records. Three additional album tracks (“Happier,” “Galway Girl,” “Dive”) have also now been Platinum-certified while five more have been Gold-certified (“Nancy Mulligan,” “Supermarket Flowers,” “How Would You Feel (Paean),” “New Man,” “What Do I Know?”). The cross country trek – which kicked off last month at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena – features special guests Snow Patrol, Anne Marie, and Lauv.
