JULIE CHEN TO STAY ON AS HOST OF BIG BROTHER: Despite stepping down as host of The Talk, Julie Chen is determined to remain on board at CBS‘ Big Brother, TMZ reports. Chen relinquished her post at The Talk on Tuesday following her husband Les Moonves ouster from the network over sexual misconduct allegations. Insiders tell TMZ that CBS didn’t put any pressure on her to leave, but that she may have decided to because of the topicality of the show and the fact that her own story would likely be part of the content. BRAVO REALITY STAR, GIRLFRIEND ACCUSED OF DRUGGING & MOLESTING WOMEN: An Orthopedic surgeon who appeared on Bravo‘s Online Dating Rituals of the American Male has been accused of raping at least two women. Dr. Grant William Robicheaux from Orange County, California, and his girlfriend Cerissa Laura Riley are being charged in the attacks, People reports. Police found recordings of them engaging in sex acts with unconscious women. “We have all heard of a wolf dressing up in sheep’s clothing. But a wolf can wear scrubs or be a doctor’s clothing. That wolf can be a beautiful woman,” the D.A. said. “People often assume that rapists are creepy, scary men who lunge out from hiding amongst bushes and attack unsuspecting women. The reality is that rapists come in all socioeconomic groups, of any background.” (People)

PAUL HAGGIS FILES EXTORTION CASE AGAINST RAPE ACCUSER: Paul Haggis is seeking a reversal of his case. In July, a judge dismissed his extortion case against his rape accuser, but the director is appealing the decision and filing again, citing “severe emotional distress,” Page Six reports. His team claims accuser Haleigh Breest “confronted him with a draft complaint containing false and scandalous accusations that they threatened to publicly file unless he paid her $9 million.” (Page Six)
