KAMLOOPS — It’s an event designed to assist children suffering from illness, disability and trauma and it’s set to pedal into Kamloops this Friday.

The 17th annual Cops for Kids Ride will be arriving at the North Shore Community Policing Office at 4:00 p.m. Friday.

“All of the public is invited to come out and cheer on the riders,” says Kamloops RCMP Cpl. Jodi Shelkie.

During their 10 day fundraising ride, Shelkie says Cops for Kids riders, including members of the Kamloops RCMP detachment, cycle nearly 1,000 kilometres across the Okanagan, Kootenay and Thompson regions.
