THE TONIGHT SHOW CANCELED NORM MACDONALD’S APPEARANCE: Hours after apologizing for comments in a Hollywood Reporter interview that seemed to push for the forgiveness of Roseanne Barr and Louis C.K., Norm Macdonald‘s scheduled appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallonwas canceled. A spokesperson said: “Out of sensitivity to our audience and in light of Norm Macdonald’s comments in the press today, The Tonight Show has decided to cancel his appearance on Tuesday’s telecast.” While promoting his Netflix show Norm Macdonald Has a Show, he told THR he was “happy the #MeToo movement has slowed down a little bit.” On C.K. and Barr he said: “There are very few people that have gone through what they have, losing everything in a day. Of course, people will go, ‘What about the victims?’ But you know what? The victims didn’t have to go through that.” (THR)
AMANDA STANTON SPEAKS ON DOMESTIC VIOLENCE ARREST: After getting arrested in Las Vegas for domestic violence, Bachelor star Amanda Stanton is sharing her perspective. “Amanda is embarrassed and ashamed this happened and sincerely apologizes to hotel security and the Las Vegas Police Department,” Stanton’s rep, Steve Honig, tells People. “Amanda is a gentle, respectful person who has never gotten physical with anyone under any circumstance.” She’d had a few drinks before the incident, he says. “When hotel security asked her and Bobby [Jacobs] to quiet down, she got a bit rambunctious,” Honig says. “Amanda gave Bobby what she thought was a playful shove; hotel security did their job and reported the incident to the police, who in turn did their job.” Stanton was released early Monday morning after the arrest. Stanton has been dating pro-volleyball player Jacobs for several months. (People)
DREW BARRYMORE MEETS UP WITH EX JUSTIN LONG: Drew Barrymore was spotted with her ex Justin Long at the Lowell Hotel in New York City Monday. A source told Page Six their meeting looked romantic. “He came in [alone]. They left together,” said a spy. “It was like they were together and trying to look like they weren’t.” The pair were together for a few years before she married Will Kopelman, whom she split from in 2016. MTV TO RE-AIR MAC MILLER TV SHOW AFTER TRIBUTE: The late Mac Miller‘s old reality show, Mac Miller and the Most Dope Family, will run on MTV as a tribute to the star in the coming weeks. The show ran from 2012-2014. TBD when it will be aired. (The Blast)
